Stringer and Associates was founded in September, 1998. We have developed our training curriculum meeting the self-protection and development needs of the private citizen along with security and law enforcement personnel. Our courses and training have been developed to provide the knowledge and skills you need in a defensive situation. Our primary goal is to help the individual better understand the use of a firearm and other personal protection systems in real world defensive situations when your personal well being and, perhaps even, your life is at risk. Most of the courses are set up on a one-day format to best accommodate today's busy lifestyle. The courses we offer cover a broad spectrum in the defensive option continuum to better meet your defensive training needs.
The background of our staff is varied and includes civilian, military, and law enforcement training. Most of the staff has been training in the defensive realm for over ten years. I have trained in the martial and defensive arts since 1978 and have had over 800 hours of specialized defensive tactics/firearms training from the Georgia Public Safety Training Center and other professional training organizations. These along with being in the private security field since 1987 has help us develop our defensive courses, again with the emphasis on the needs for personal protection.
